HOW TO CHECK-IN

Locale 2nd Street

Locale apartments at 2nd Street are located within the AMLI on 2nd Apartment Complex, pictured above, at 421 W 3rd St, Austin, TX 78701.

Follow the instructions below for self check-in.

STREET ENTRANCE

Follow these steps for self check-in, which takes approximately 3-5 minutes.


Step 1: Locate the building's resident entrance, for Locale guests
Enter at 421 W 3rd Street, which is marked "Resident Lobby"

Step 2: Enter the building
Using the callbox to the left of the doors, input the 4-digit Building Access Code to enter

Step 3: Find the elevator bank and proceed to your floor
Walk straight to find the elevators.

Using the callbox on the right hand side of the elevators, enter your 4-digit Building Access Code. Immediately press the elevator call button up and wait for the doors to open. Then enter your floor number.

*If the elevator doesn't allow you to select your floor, the callbox timed out. Simply go back to the callbox and enter the Building Access Code. This usually only applies if the elevator took more than 1-2 minutes to arrive*

Step 4Proceed to your apartment
Follow signs to your apartment. Use the 4-digit Apartment Access Code at the door to enter.
Enter the code on the keypad above the door handle.

Step 5: Settle in.
The binder on the kitchen has a parking card (for the garage) and an access key fob. Use the access fob to use the elevator, get into the pool and gym on the 5th floor or access the specific garage levels.


PARKING INSTRUCTIONS

Follow these steps for parking, which takes approximately 7-10 minutes. Please register your vehicle to avoid being towed. Text the make/model/license plate to us at (512) 580-7606.


Step 1: Locate the garage entrance.
The garage entrance is located at 213 San Antonio Street (between 2nd and 3rd street).

Step 2: Pull into the garage entrance and take a ticket
Proceed up the ramp, pull a ticket at the gate, and proceed up into the parking floors
*KEEP YOUR TICKET* You'll need it for the final departure.

Step 3: Park in any UNRESERVED space

Step 4: Locate the elevator bank and go to the Lobby
Once parked, locate the Resident Entrance and enter the 4-digit Building Access Code at the callbox. Once inside, take the elevator down to the lobby.

Step 5: Proceed to your floor

Using the callbox on the right hand side of the elevators, enter your 4-digit Building Access Code. Immediately press the elevator call button up and wait for the doors to open. Then enter your floor number.

Step 6Proceed to your apartment
Follow signs to your apartment. Use the 4-digit Apartment Access Code at the door to enter.
Enter the code on the keypad above the door handle. It's typically the last 4 digits of your phone #

Step 7Locate the parking card and validation sticker within the binder on the kitchen
Once in your apartment, there will be a welcome binder with a parking pass and 1 validation sticker. Locate your Parking Pass - you will use this to enter and exit the parking garage until final departure. The ticket you pulled won't be used till checkout; we suggest keeping the ticket in the binder to keep safe!

At checkout, leave the parking card in the apartment and affix your validation sticker to your original parking ticket to exit the garage, so you don't have to pay garage rates. 

 

AT CHECKOUT

Leave your parking pass and keyfob in the apartment when you are ready to leave and take your ORIGINAL garage ticket with the validation sticker on it. If there is not an attendant on duty, please use the call box to call an attendant, if you need assistance

  • For easier checkout: When departing, use the Service Elevator located at the far end of the hallway past the main elevator to reach the floor you parked on.

  • Lost or unreturned parking passes and access cards result in a $50 replacement fee per item

  • Only one car can use the pass / reduced rate per unit

  • If you can not exit or enter with the parking pass, please use the call box to notify the attendant the parking pass is out of sync
